Lifestyle News:Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty and Indian cricket team player KL Rahul welcomed a little angel on 24 March 2025. The two had recently revealed the name of their daughter, but now another important information is making headlines. Actor and Athiya's father Sunil Shetty revealed that his daughter gave birth to the baby through "normal delivery" and this news has become a new ray of hope for all those women who are afraid of operation or who are told that it is the only option.

When celebs also opt for normal delivery

In today's fast-paced and technology-dependent life, an option like cesarean delivery (C-Section) is considered more convenient than normal delivery. In such a situation, choosing normal delivery by an actress like Athiya is not just a medical decision, but also a social message that if circumstances and health permit, a woman can trust the natural cycle of her body.

But why is normal delivery not possible for everyone?

There are many physical and mental factors behind normal delivery, not just willpower. Experts believe that sometimes medical conditions make cesarean necessary:

1. Placenta previa: Where the placenta covers the mouth of the uterus and normal delivery can be fatal.

2. Infectious risks: In conditions like HIV or genital herpes, there is a high risk of infection reaching the baby.

3. Chronic diseases: Normal delivery is not possible in case of diabetes, high blood pressure or old pelvic fractures.

4. Bad experience from the past: The trauma of the first delivery mentally motivates women to go for an operation.

5. Personal choice and fear: Sometimes women are afraid of pain or they want the child to be born on a particular date then an operation is done.

Lesson for women: Operation should be done as per need

In India, in the last few years, cases of C-section have increased even without need. Due to the policies of hospitals, fear and publicity, women consider operation as an easy option. But the truth is that normal delivery is the body's own process, which makes recovery faster and also deepens the bonding between mother and child.

Why is Athiya's normal delivery special?

Because it bridges the gap between glamour and reality. When an actress like Athiya chooses the path of natural delivery instead of operation, it sends a message to millions of young women that motherhood is not a show, but a journey  which is full of faith and patience.

The body should tell how the delivery should be

Cesarean or normal, both options are important but the decision should not be based only on convenience, but should be made with health wisdom. Athiya Shetty's story is not just a news, it is a thought  which says that trust the natural things, they are the strongest.
